Yes that's right- version 1.13. 1.12 BETA is what we have been offering, 1.13 has a few things that 1.12 BETA didn't. I'll make those a different color!
Here are the enhancements from version 1.11-
SUB FORUM CHANGES
- Sub forums have a different SQL routine making them pull MANY less queries than the original version.
- Sub forums have a different layout in the forum view.
- Breadcrumb follows actual sub path.
- Moving a parent forum with subs to another category moves the entire block as a group.
I am working on giving sub forums their own tab, but since only one customer so far has had an issue I didn't put it in version 1.13. It will appear in the next release.
USER GROUP COLOR
- Entire routine was rewritten to pull less queries. It now pulls 1 per entire page, a million times better for the server
- When quoting with user name, quote follows group color. Since the color code is written in the post as text when you save, it will only make a difference on new quotes, all previous will be in the messed up colors they were. Sorry!
PM CHANGES
- Fixed a bug that continued to notify a user of new PM's when there are none. This was originally triggered by deleting unread PM's.
ADMIN PROFILE EDITING
- Repaired custom profiles missing in edit user.
- Added signatures to editable fields.
GUEST LINK
- Fixed small problem with guest link showing BASE_DIR in path.
SPAM PROTECTION
- Added well researched custom written Captcha routine using GD fonts instead of TTF for wider server compatability and better security against automated OCR routines. Non geek terms you might say? It has been 100% effective in stopping spambots from signing up on every board it is on.
CHANGES BEYOND 1.12 BETA
- Added a "shade of shades" called Sand Harvest, written by Di. Lighter by far than the dark ones included, I really like it.
- Ultra Theme- re written for complete cross browser compatability. Looks the same in Opera and Safari as it does in IE and FF. Added admin panel link at top. Moved buttons in several areas to more logical positions.
- Added all the original language packs.
Throughout the files I have removed outdated, un needed, redundant code but I'm far from finished with that. I hope you enjoy the new version, we came up with a bunch of good ideas for the next release including a couple key user suggestions. We are listening!
