Now that I have purchased hosting on Data 1 I see I am allowed 3 mysql databases. Does that mean I can have three different forums hosted on here each with it's own database? If not what does it mean exactly?

The forum requires one database. If you want a gallery it requires one, but the prefix is different so you can use the same one. You might want to test multiple boards. You can have multiple "things" on one account but only one main address on our 3 advertised accounts. You can have as many "sub domains" as you want like train.yourmodelrailway.net or robert.yourmodelrailway.net It is actually just for math sake. Lets say you for some reason need 4, just ask us and we won't have a problem sliding you another. Most humans only use one. We sell a lot of custom hosting plans, basically tell us what you want to do and we quote it.

Thanks Jim, that's much clearer. Once I get my forum on here then I may well want to take advantage of what's on offer with things like a gallery. I obviously have much to learn.
