I also think that I might use Data 1 servers.

If the hosting accepts Paypal, or if you just get an Ultra license and then you have an option of web hosting through Data 1's website.

Data1systems does accept paypal. again, its our preferred gateway.
I haven't looked at the website yet, don't you think it'd be fair to just make the money off of Ultra, not web hosting?

I think Ultra owners are getting a lot for what they pay for the license itself --- free customer service, which no one has complained about, free future upgrades, free installation for the future upgrades as well as the fact that we will upgrade any of our themes we create for the Ultra license.

Our customers also take part in the decision making process of whether or not a feature should be incorporated into the software. They also have a voice in that we try to take their requests for future features into consideration

As the site owners stated, "It's not really a money thing,"

We have to feed our kids too ;)

Our hosting packages are priced pretty reasonable. I think if we were in it for the money, our prices would probably be a bit higher in order to compete with other hosting companies out there.

Not only that, we take extra care to make sure we dont stuff our servers like many hosting companies out there, which result in frequent downtimes for other boards.

We keep a constant eye on the server load to prevent any outages. Our customers rarely have any downtime on our servers.

I think the hosting should be free for like a year, if you purchase a WowUltra license, something along those lines would make sense.

But after that year, that person would need to pay for the next year.

we do run sales on hosting. in fact, we just had an anniversary sale in may/june where anyone who purchased an Ultra license received 2 months of free hosting.

Sakura - I gave your email to a guy to contact you about the VB license. That way I stay out of it and you can talk to him directly. I will PM you his name. James

I heard of that person from somewhere, possibly from vBsetup maybe.

Also, I'm going to browse around Data1Systems soon.

I think that people are fairly happy with the services the website here offers to them.

Plus, I really am looking forward into the purchase.

I just need to have the support area details send to my gmail one instead of my Yahoo one.

And I'll wait to get that e-mail from that person.

If only Ultra could get it's own Recipe Mod Database.

And also, I don't even use Paypal or have a bank account. Meh. I have the 100 dollars in my account.

Is there another way to even send the money?

And hopefully I can send what the person send to me to the e-mail address where you  purchase WowUltra.

A little confused, you don't have a bank account but there is 100 in it?

How did you receive the money? Did the buyer use paypal?

Yeah, they used Paypal.

And it was send as a payment.

They must have a verifed account.

OK then to get the money at all you need to set up a simple paypal account using YOUR e-mail address they used to send the money to as your primary address.

Wow I don't even know if that will work after they have sent it, it was supposed to be done before they sent it.

Does anyone else (maybe James) have any suggestions? I'll have to look. Anyway it goes create a simple paypal account using the exact e-mail.

Yeah, the money was send.

And I got the person's money. I wonder if it's like how it is on eBay and you have to register twice in order eBay to not ask for your credit card information.

Wait, there's a tab called "Send Money" but it asks for a valid e-mail address.

All I'd need is a valid e-mail address and then would put in the note part the item # and the item name.

A valid e-mail address from YOU not me.

Oh, and it looks like we're gonna have to wait for James to come up with a solution. I might need to wait for him to come online.

It won't let me send money to anyone, because it "exceeds" my limit.

I wish I could help more, I originally set up my paypal account about 6 years ago. It's all a blur as of today.
