Ok, so maybe I am having some serious blonde moments... but I thought I'd stop playing with stuff and calll in the professionals before I break something LOL

I have gone into my cPanel, and under the addon scripts coppermine is listed. I go to set up the gallery software, but when it goes to install it says that the install has failed due to ImageMagik not being present? Is that something you can fix on your end, or am I just doing it wrong?

Looking in to it.

It should be able to use GD2 which is standard on most servers.

I receive the same error message : (

Question, other than making this a program only seen by registered users on the forum, is there a way to set this up so that only registered users of the forum can use the photo service?

Or must it be to seperate databases of users?

There's no bridge currently for Coppermine and Ultra. I'm looking into making the bridge because I want to use it as well.

A bridge would be great.

I looked at there website after I posted and saw that was the solution.

OK give me a day on this. A stock download of coppermine can be done with GD or Imagik. Evidently the "cpanel" install script checks for imagik and cacks if it isn't there.

The solution? Add image magick. I'll do it soon.

Can I have Imagemagik as well Jim please? I still get problems with GD2, apparently Photopost works much better with Imagemagik.

OK it's officially called "imagemagick" and I found out the hard way it's a perl module and not a PHP add on.

Anyhow it has been installed on all shared servers, attempting to do dedicated now.

It will be standard from now on at Data 1 :)

OOOhhh after install switch to the "eyeball" theme. Looks really cool, reminds me of some of the old TCDI glass themes.

Wow that was quick Jim, thanks. I did a quick test and it seems fine. I'll be away for the next four days so and I'll have a proper look next Tuesday. Thanks again.

I of course scampered off as soon as I saw your reply, and I LOVE it! I've been playing with it since I installed it, and I really think it is just what Zoo Tycoon Unlimited has been looking for - Thanks so much!

Very quick (super fast) install....

I'll wait on the bridge before I go public.

OK I'm new to all this so could someone explain, in simple terms, what's causing all the excitement?

In your control panel, under addon scripts you will find an auto install for Coppermine Photo Gallery. Coppermine is free anyway but the c-panel makes it a snap to install.
