Hi, if foreign chars, e.g. Japanese, are used in topic titles the notiviation mail has a mad title. See screenshot. The reason is, that the title is not formated according RFC1522. There must be some libs in .php to do this. The result looks like this: Subject: =?utf-8?B?<the utf-8 string encoded in base64>?=[code]The body of the mail is formated correctly as you see in the shot. I think that never worked. But I never reported that to WowBB support - it would not have made much sense. The team had been busy re-starting forums who stopped working in the last months. Not much room for fixes... I wish them all the best, but for us it was simply impossible to wait longer for better times. That is the reason why we switched the board to Ultra. Best Markus

A lot of the "problems" that are recently plaguing the WowBB system are not code or board related, they are hosting related. As much as I like WowBB and the crew (I still hold a part time position there) I went way outside their system when I obtained a dedicated server for my customers. I really think they will understand due to circumstances.
